We are delighted to share that the Okwici Outreach Community Center is now open, and its doors are open to volunteers.
The center gives the community a place to receive care and to learn new skills, close to home. It brings together two things that sit at the heart of Yot Kom Missions International: humanitarian healthcare, and working alongside communities to strengthen local capacity.
Who we are welcoming
- Medical volunteers who can provide care to the community
- Dental volunteers who can provide dental services to the community
- Anyone who would like to teach the community a practical skill
If you have a skill to share, from a trade to a craft or a subject you love teaching, you are welcome. Every volunteer arrives prepared to learn as well as to give.
How to volunteer at Okwici
- Fill in the volunteer form and choose “Volunteering at the Okwici Outreach Community Center” or “Teaching a skill at the Okwici Outreach Community Center”.
- Tell us what you would like to offer and when you are available.
